Car Financing: what CarmaCars does
Here is the honest answer for buyers: CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.
A test drive that lasts
A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car?
A buyer's checklist
Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure.
Before your next car arrives
If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week.
