Car Financing in Flanders, NY

Buying a car in Flanders

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Rent it before you buy it

A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags.

What to check before you buy

A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired.

Before your next car arrives

There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive.
