Buying a car in Fleet Settlement

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Drive it like you own it

If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class.

What to check before you buy

Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN.

Before your next car arrives

Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush.

Distance, honestly

We have one location, in Toronto, and none in Fleet Settlement. Fleet Settlement is about 1,363 km from our location in Toronto in a straight line, beyond the 250 km we deliver to.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. For buying in Fleet Settlement, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. If you still want to ask about Fleet Settlement, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
