Shopping for a car in Forney

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Try it for a week first

Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

Before you sign

A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose.

Between cars

A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week.
