Car Financing in Frederic, WI

Shopping for a car in Frederic

To be upfront: CarmaCars is a rental company and does not sell cars or arrange loans. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Why rent first

If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign.

Before you sign

Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car.

A car meanwhile

Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush.
