Car Financing in Freeport, MN

Buying a car in Freeport

If financing for a car is what you need, know first that CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them; here is what we can do. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Drive it like you own it

Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve.

What to check before you buy

In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts.

Bridging the gap

If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive.
