Shopping for a car in Gray Goose

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Drive it like you own it

A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer.

What to check before you buy

A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town.

A car meanwhile

Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive.

Honest about distance

CarmaCars operates from a single location in Toronto, so Gray Goose is outside our area. By straight line Gray Goose is about 1,673 km from central Toronto; by road it is farther, and beyond our 80 km delivery area.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. A request about Gray Goose gets an honest answer from a person. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
