Car Financing: what CarmaCars does
To be upfront: CarmaCars is a rental company and does not sell cars or arrange loans. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.
Try it for a week first
A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. You can collect the car from us for free, or have it delivered to Grimsby.
Checks worth doing
Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price.
Before your next car arrives
A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive.
