Shopping for a car in Harrop
There is nothing for sale here as a rule: CarmaCars rents cars. Here is how that helps when you shop. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.
Why rent first
Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other.
Buying smart in Ontario
Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts.
While you shop
Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned.
