Buying a car in Hext

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Rent it before you buy it

A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other.

Questions to ask

Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes.

Bridging the gap

You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush.

Honest about distance

We have one location, in Toronto, and none in Hext. Hext lies about 1,988 km from our location in Toronto, well beyond our 250 km delivery area.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. For buying in Hext, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Questions about Hext? Send a request and a person answers honestly. Note that our prices are shown in Canadian dollars.

Still deciding?

Rent it for a week, then decide: send a request with your dates.
