Buying a car in Higgins

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Rent it before you buy it

Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

Before you sign

Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car.

A car meanwhile

A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars.

Distance, honestly

CarmaCars is not in Higgins. Our one location is in Toronto. With Higgins about 1,092 km from Toronto, it is outside the 250 km we cover.

Shopping in Higgins? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Ask us about Higgins in a request; a person answers honestly. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
