Shopping for a car in Hoffer

CarmaCars is a rental company, so we do not sell cars; renting one first is how we help buyers. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Try it for a week first

Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car.

What to check before you buy

Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price.

A car meanwhile

Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal.

Honest about Hoffer

Everything CarmaCars does starts from Toronto, and we have no presence in Hoffer. We cover about 250 km around Toronto; at about 393 km, Hoffer is outside that.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Write to us with the dates and the place, and we will give you a straight answer. Every price here is in Canadian dollars.
