Car Financing in Hoffmans, NY

Shopping for a car in Hoffmans

CarmaCars is not where you buy a car, but it can be where you try one first. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Why rent first

If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel.

Before you sign

In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy.

Bridging the gap

There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip.

Our reach

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Hoffmans. With Hoffmans about 431 km from Toronto, it is outside the 250 km we cover.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Hoffmans if you like. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
