Buying a car in Hortense

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Drive it like you own it

A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign.

Questions to ask

In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand.

Before your next car arrives

Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned.

Where we are

CarmaCars works from one location in Toronto and does not operate in Hortense. Delivery covers about 250 km around Toronto; Hortense is about 1,340 km away.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Unsure? Send a request about Hortense, and we answer plainly. Prices on this site are in Canadian dollars.
