Car Financing for Ingenio

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Why rent first

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer.

Before you sign

Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up.

While you shop

Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush.

What we cover

CarmaCars works from one location in Toronto and does not operate in Ingenio. Our deliveries stop at about 250 km from Toronto; Ingenio is roughly 3,068 km away.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. For anything about Ingenio, a request reaches a person who answers honestly. All prices are in Canadian dollars.

Next step

Ask about renting first, and buy with a clear head.
