Buying a car in Inkerman

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Drive it like you own it

Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel.

Questions to ask

Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town.

While you shop

A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale.

Renting from Toronto

We are a Toronto company with no office or lot in Inkerman. Inkerman lies about 515 km from our location in Toronto, well beyond our 250 km delivery area.

For buying in Inkerman, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Send a request with what you need in Inkerman, and we reply plainly, even when the answer is no. Every rate on this site is in Canadian dollars.
