Shopping for a car in Ivanhoe Forest

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Why rent first

Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other.

Before you sign

Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town.

Before your next car arrives

If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale.

Where we deliver

Ivanhoe Forest is not an area we serve directly. CarmaCars is based in Toronto. With Ivanhoe Forest about 698 km from Toronto, it is outside the 250 km we cover.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. For buying in Ivanhoe Forest, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Tell us what you are planning in Ivanhoe Forest, and we will say what we can and cannot do. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
