Car Financing: what CarmaCars does
If financing for a car is what you need, know first that CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them; here is what we can do. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.
Drive it like you own it
Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags.
Questions to ask
In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price.
