Car Financing in Jackson, NJ

Before you buy in Jackson

CarmaCars does not sell cars, but before you buy one in Jackson, a short rental can answer questions a test drive cannot. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Try it for a week first

A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it.

Checks worth doing

Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car.

While you shop

Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date.

Reach and distance
