Buying a car in Kenyon

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. We are not a dealership, and we do not arrange loans or leases. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Why rent first

Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags.

Before you sign

Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy.

Bridging the gap

Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive.

Renting from Toronto

Kenyon is not an area we serve directly. CarmaCars is based in Toronto. At about 1,097 km from our location in Toronto, Kenyon is past the 250 km our delivery covers.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Tell us what you need in Kenyon, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. Rates are shown in Canadian dollars.

Next step
