Car Financing in Lachine, MI

Shopping for a car in Lachine

CarmaCars does not sell cars, but before you buy one in Lachine, a short rental can answer questions a test drive cannot. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Try it for a week first

A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel.

Before you sign

Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose.

Before your next car arrives

There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal.
