Buying a car in Lamb

Here is the honest answer for buyers: CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

A test drive that lasts

Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most.

Before you sign

Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy.

A car meanwhile

If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush.

Toronto based

CarmaCars works from one location in Toronto and does not operate in Lamb. About 749 km in a straight line separate Lamb from our location in Toronto; our delivery stops at about 250 km.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Ask us about Lamb in a request; a person answers honestly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
