Shopping for a car in Lee County

A buyer's checklist
Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose.
While you shop
Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned.
