Buying a car in Leone

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Try it for a week first

Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it.

What to check before you buy

Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive.

Before your next car arrives

Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed.
