Shopping for a car in Letson Settlement

CarmaCars is not where you buy a car, but it can be where you try one first. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Why rent first

If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign.

Before you sign

Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package.

A car meanwhile

Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing.
