Buying a car in Lida

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Try it for a week first

Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other.

Questions to ask

Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose.

Bridging the gap

There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned.

Our area, and Lida

Shopping in Lida? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you want to check something for Lida, send a request; a person replies honestly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.
