Shopping for a car in March

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Why rent first

Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is.

A buyer's checklist

Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts.

Between cars

Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale.

Before you plan around us

CarmaCars works from Toronto. There is no CarmaCars branch in March. At roughly 1,445 km from our location in Toronto in a straight line, March is outside our delivery area.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about March if you like. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.
