Car Financing in May, KY

Shopping for a car in May

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. We are not a dealership, and we do not arrange loans or leases. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Rent it before you buy it

Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide.

Before you sign

Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price.

While you shop

If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives.
