Shopping for a car in Mayos

Shopping for a car in Mayos? CarmaCars is not a dealer, a lender or a leasing company. We rent cars. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Drive it like you own it

A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class.

A buyer's checklist

In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand.

A car meanwhile

Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing.

A note on distance

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Mayos. About 1,449 km from our location in Toronto, Mayos is too far for our delivery area of about 250 km.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Ask us about Mayos in a request; a person answers honestly. Every price here is in Canadian dollars.

Your move

Tell us the model and the dates, and we reply with an offer.
