Shopping for a car in McGregor

CarmaCars is a rental company, so we do not sell cars; renting one first is how we help buyers. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Drive it like you own it

A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

Checks worth doing

Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town.

While you shop

If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed.

Where we are
