Buying a car in Mountain View

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Rent it before you buy it

Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel.

Questions to ask

In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car.

While you shop

Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere.

A note on distance

CarmaCars works from one location in Toronto and does not operate in Mountain View. Delivery covers about 250 km around Toronto; Mountain View is about 2,673 km away.
