Buying a car in Newbrook

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Rent it before you buy it

Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign.

Buying smart in Ontario

Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price.

While you shop

Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal.
