Buying a car in Normanda

CarmaCars is a rental company, so we do not sell cars; renting one first is how we help buyers. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

A test drive that lasts

Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other.

A buyer's checklist

Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand.

While you shop

There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one.

Distance, honestly
