Car Financing in Oakbrook, LA

Before you buy in Oakbrook

CarmaCars is a rental company, so we do not sell cars; renting one first is how we help buyers. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Why rent first

Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign.

A buyer's checklist

Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price.

While you shop

Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale.
