Buying a car in Offutt

CarmaCars does not sell cars, but before you buy one in Offutt, a short rental can answer questions a test drive cannot. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Try it for a week first

If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

What to check before you buy

Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure.

Between cars

You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking.
