Car Financing in Onslow, NS

Before you buy in Onslow

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Try it for a week first

Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other.

What to check before you buy

Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts.

Between cars

A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one.
