Buying a car in Orr

CarmaCars is not where you buy a car, but it can be where you try one first. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Rent it before you buy it

Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it.

Checks worth doing

Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive.

While you shop

Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels.
