Car Financing in Owdoms

To be upfront: CarmaCars is a rental company and does not sell cars or arrange loans. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Rent it before you buy it

Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags.

What to check before you buy

For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package.

Bridging the gap

A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal.
