Buying a car in Patterson

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Try it for a week first

A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence.

Checks worth doing

Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price.

While you shop

A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking.
