Buying a car in Pebblebrook

To be upfront: CarmaCars is a rental company and does not sell cars or arrange loans. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Rent it before you buy it

Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer.

Buying smart in Ontario

Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose.

Before your next car arrives

A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal.
