Buying a car in Penticton

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Why rent first

Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it.

Checks worth doing

Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired.

Bridging the gap

Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one.

Where we are

We do not have a location in Penticton; CarmaCars works out of Toronto. We cover about 250 km around Toronto; at about 3,106 km, Penticton is outside that.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Still have a question about Penticton? Ask in a request, and we answer plainly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

One more step

A week with the car can save a costly mistake: request it now.
