Car Financing in Peter Trace, KY

Before you buy in Peter Trace

If you are looking for financing for a car, the honest answer first: CarmaCars does not offer it, but a rental can help along the way. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Try it for a week first

Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel.

Questions to ask

Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town.

Before your next car arrives

Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week.
