Shopping for a car in Phoenix

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Rent it before you buy it

Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign.

Checks worth doing

Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand.

Bridging the gap

Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it.

Our area

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Phoenix. Our delivery reaches about 250 km from Toronto, and Phoenix is about 724 km away.

Shopping in Phoenix? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Send a request with what you need in Phoenix, and we reply plainly, even when the answer is no. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
