Car Financing in Plaisted, ME

Buying a car in Plaisted

Here is the honest answer for buyers: CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Why rent first

Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it.

Before you sign

Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package.

Bridging the gap

There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere.
