Buying a car in Pomeroy

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

A test drive that lasts

A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is.

Questions to ask

Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price.

While you shop

Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week.

Renting from Toronto

Everything CarmaCars does starts from Toronto, and we have no presence in Pomeroy. Delivery covers about 250 km around Toronto; Pomeroy is about 1,386 km away.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Shopping in Pomeroy? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Send a request about Pomeroy, and we reply with a clear yes or no. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
