Buying a car in Ponce

CarmaCars is a rental company, so we do not sell cars; renting one first is how we help buyers. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Why rent first

Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car.

Questions to ask

Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy.

Between cars

Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars.
