Car Financing in Powell Corner, VA

Car Financing: what CarmaCars does

We do not sell or finance cars. We rent them, by the day, the week or the month. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Why rent first

Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer.

A buyer's checklist

Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package.

A car meanwhile

Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale.
