Buying a car in Preble County
CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell, lend or lease, but renting first is a smart step before buying. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.
Why rent first
Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it.
What to check before you buy
Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town.
A car meanwhile
Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal.
Make a request
Send a request to rent the model you are thinking of buying.
