Car Financing: what CarmaCars does
CarmaCars does not sell cars or arrange loans; we rent cars, which helps when you are deciding. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.
Drive it like you own it
A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. You can collect the car from us for free, or have it delivered to Prospect.
Buying smart in Ontario
Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand.
Between cars
A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush.
Prospect and nearby
Myrtle Station, Myrtle and Raglan are the neighbouring places on our list.
Oshawa Airport is the nearest airport, roughly 14 km away. Winters here bring snow, and winter tires are an add-on on the cars that offer them.
