Buying a car in Queen

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Drive it like you own it

A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign.

What to check before you buy

Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes.

A car meanwhile

You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars.

Where we work

CarmaCars has no branch in Queen. We rent from one location in Toronto. By straight line Queen is about 1,146 km from central Toronto; by road it is farther, and beyond our 80 km delivery area.

For buying in Queen, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Shopping in Queen? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Queen if you like. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
